Job Board Direct are supporting Barnkids Nurseries with a recruitment campaign looking for a Nursery Room Leader at their new site Puddleducks in Worthing.

The role:

Nursery Room Leader
Worthing
£20,966 – £23,296 per annum

This is a new site that Barnkids have recently acquired, and we will be offering a £500 bonus for joining us after completion of your 3 month probation period.

As the Toddler Room Leader you will lead the lovely Toddler Room looking after children aged 18 months – 3 years.

You and the team will work with all of our toddlers to create strong attachments and fun experiences both indoors and outdoors. The team are all passionate and caring and are looking for someone to join the team whos loves being outdoors as much as they do.

Day to day you will:

Be responsible for the delivery of outstanding care routines for the children in the Toddler Room, for example; welcoming children into the setting, mealtimes, sleep and basic care
To lead and motivate your team, providing support and assistance where required
Have fun with the team and children, helping the children to learn through play both indoors and out
Enjoy undertaking learning opportunities through internal and external training courses
In partnership with your team plan activities to challenge and stimulate children of different skills and abilities
Promote child welfare and ensure safeguarding procedures are followed
Develop strong relationships with parents and strong bonds with your children

Role Requirements

You have experience as an Early Years Practitioner and hold a relevant Early Years Qualification (Level 3 or above)
