Domiciliary Care Branch Manager – #JBD07515

Domiciliary Care Branch Manager
Clapham, London

Job Type: Full-time
Salary: up to £37,000 – depending on experience

A permanent position for a Care Manager has emerged in the modern Clapham headquarters of this well-established and expanding domiciliary care agency.

We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced individual to join an established team of managers who together, oversee the delivery of thousands of hours of care per week.

Previous experience of domiciliary care management is preferred – a Level 4 Social Care (or equivalent) qualification or above is desirable, along with a thorough understanding of care standards and ways in which new and further business can be obtained.

You will manage an established team in the London Borough of Lambeth, coordinating careworkers undertaking approximately 1200 hours of care per week.

Candidates with good organisational skills who are honest and outgoing are highly desired. Familiarisation with Peopleplanner, Careplanner and/or CM2000 would be a plus.

The successful Care Branch Manager will be business-development minded and be determined to grow the number of hours of care being undertaken by the branch.

You will report directly to the Operations Manager and be responsible for a team of Care Coordinators, Care Supervisors and Home Care Workers.

Your experience will mean that you have the ability to promote and enhance existing relationships with Local Authorities and other professional bodies in a way that leads to the growth of the business.

You will be able to professionally represent the Company within Local Authority/other frameworks, including involvement in negotiations with such organisations regarding all aspects of domiciliary care.

Domiciliary Care Field Supervisor

Holistic Community Care is the lead company in a group of companies operating in the homecare/domiciliary sector, where trained careworkers attend to the needs of older and disabled people in their own homes. It is one of the most well-established homecare companies in the UK. It provides thousands of hours of care services every week across London.

YOUR ROLE

A full-time, permanent position for a Domiciliary Care Field Supervisor has emerged in the Clapham branch of this well-established and expanding domiciliary care agency.

The position will see the successful applicant join our existing care management team who together, jointly cover and oversee the provision of care throughout the various London areas.

Candidates with previous domiciliary care supervisory or managerial experience are preferred – those with NVQ3 (or equivalent) or higher qualifications are particularly desirable, although this is not essential for the post if you are experienced. However, candidates must have a full UK driving licence (a company car will be provided) and be locally based or within a reasonable commuting distance.

The successful Care Field Supervisor will, along with our other field supervisors, lead on assessments in the community, compile care packages, liaise with social services and the next-of-kin of service users, participate in the PAID on-call rota and help to sell the business to new clients.

This role will involve using IT systems (for which full training will be provided).
