Electrical Project Manager
Location: London - Remote, with regular travel to project sites in the Reading or North London areas
Salary: £55,000 - £73,000 + depending on experience
Contract: Permanent, Full-Time
A fantastic opportunity has arisen for an experienced Electrical Project Manager to join a growing business delivering major electrical infrastructure and utility projects across the UK.
Based remotely, youll take ownership of projects across the Reading and North London areas, working alongside experienced technical, commercial and operational teams.
This is an exciting opportunity to join a business with a strong project pipeline, where youll have genuine ownership across the full project lifecycle, from handover and mobilisation through to commissioning and completion. Youll be joining a collaborative team where your experience and project management expertise can make a real impact on successful project delivery and continued business growth.
Requirements for the Electrical Project Manager
3+ years experience as a Project Manager within electrical utilities, power infrastructure, electrical contracting or a similar environment.
Proven experience managing electrical construction or infrastructure projects from mobilisation through to commissioning and completion.
Strong understanding of project planning, procurement, subcontractors, risk, programme and commercial management.
Good knowledge of RAMS, work packs, CDM, quality and site safety, with confidence coordinating site teams and stakeholders.
Relevant engineering, electrical, construction or project management qualification is advantageous.
Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel to project sites in London or Reading.
The role of Electrical Project Manager:
Take ownership of electrical projects from handover through to completion and commissioning.
Manage programmes, resources, procurement, risks and key milestones.
Coordinate design, commercial, site and subcontractor teams to ensure safe and timely delivery.
Monitor budgets, forecasts, variations and overall commercial performance.
Ensure projects are fully planned, delivered and successfully handed over and closed out.
